Some Tribe Treasure
Lot's of good being done in the Tribe this week. Firstly, welcome to new members, @Kevin Hoist @Shane Gring @Michael Butler and our good friend @Patrick Munroe! Big shout out to @Jay Bearfield for 20 years of working for himself and it's been an honor to witness your ascent in the last 3 years. Great to see you in person last month too! Celebrating @Tanya Folsom's new book introducing the wolf wisdom for kids and deep appreciation for @Morgan Vicki Todd for all the Magician support on this project. If you're working on a book you should connect with her for sure. Good luck on Morgan and @Michael Todd's move into the desert! If you are a parent or educator, you can get on the preorder list for the book here: https://page.mywolftribe.com/spbook-waitlist Men, care out a little time to explore the Iron John workshop in the classroom especially if you haven't read the book in awhile. Might unlock some more treasure. Lover month has been good for us and we continue holding our challenges this month with accountability here from the tribe. Several of my new practices will be rolled into my ongoing and ever-improving Perfect Day. See y'all on the call.
2/14 check-in. A special reflection.
Today marks my 20th anniversary of self employment. Feels like a lifetime ago that I started my first company and the time that has passed has certainly included several chapters and versions of me - some good and some not so good- throughout this time. It’s been a journey filled with all the “journey” stuff you’d expect: pain and pleasure, success and failure, frustration and laughter, loss and gain and has taken a fair amount of determination, blood, sweat and tears to move through. Self employment, I have found to be a path of resistance, swimming upstream on most days, and has contained little life balance with plenty of moments leaving me wondering it the rewards match the risk. (But I guess so is life when you look at it) However, I wouldn’t change any of it. Because it’s that adversity, and my response, that has molded this moment. Created those moments of growth, whether I wanted them or not (more often not). Introduced those hard lessons that came from the failures, and successes. And I certainly would not have learned nearly as much as a tradesman, and artist, had I been contained by a creative box that working for others would have existed. Today on this Lovers Day in this Lovers Month, I reflect on what this moment means beyond the milestone time marker that this is. I reflect on ALL the moments that have carried me to this one and it really is love that has carried me through it all. My LOVE of nature. My LOVE of my craft. My LOVE of independence. My LOVE of challenge. My LOVE of dreams. My LOVE of self (well, now) AND The LOVE and support of my family The LOVE and support of my friends. The LOVE of my clients and colleagues. The LOVE of the Universe (it’s out to see you win) I have been so fortunate to have this path and still be on it. am excited to see where the next part of my creative journey will take me, and will welcome the adversity and challenges it takes to move through it. It’s all such a gift. So as I reflect here on all of this, I ask the question:

Sunday Tribe Talk
Happy Sunday, Tribe and wishing everyone abundance and good mojo for the coming week! Welcome to our Polish brother @Marcin Czachorski and NZ brother @Jerry Beale and all the rest of the good folks who joined the tribe this week. Here's what's going on to catch you up to speed and a nudge to the rest of the community to get involved in this month's challenge to level up your relationships and resiliency. We are running monthly challenges following the Archetypes sequence that shows up in both the Tribe Triangle culture map and the Hero's Journey map of life. The Sovereign launches the journey with vision (we did that last month) followed by Lover that generates belonging with ourselves (which is resiliency) and belonging with others (which is relationships). Next month is Warrior house where we push fitness, discipline and boundaries followed by Magician which is mastery, efficiency and structure. These challenges involve a daily commitment to explore and establish a new behavior to improve our life and the impact our lives in the world. We post daily for accountability and that is important. We will always do more for the honor to others than we will do for ourselves. That consistency is challenging but it is the only way to establish new life practices. There are many times in the last two months that I would have missed my practice but I did it for the sake of accountability and now have a more fulfilling and successful life. I plan on continuing that journey of setting goals and implementing those rituals into my life. We have a Sunday check in at 4pm PST and the link is on the calendar here. No call this Sunday as folks are watching the super bowl but will commence next Sunday. To the new folks, take some time to explore the classroom section of this app to find a bunch of workshops and webinars to level up your personal and professional development. Keep a look out this coming week for an invite to an open Wolf Tribe program out at the wolf sanctuary in March. I also plan on finishing my Iron John webinar that will be in the classroom section of this app.

It's getting REAL people!
So I logged onto my account for the upcoming Ohio Safety Congress & Expo in Columbus Ohio. I was signing up for some classes and finally got my venue assignment (500-700) capacity ball room. Kind of makes it more real and less nerve racking. So blessed to have been invited to this nation wide event and see my platform recognized that I don't care if 10 people show up. I mean a couple hundred will look better on film and marketing ops but hey God has this all planned out. I just have to show up and stay out of his way. So there will be 1 more marketing team meeting and a dry run to come in February. Never let anyone tell you, you can't do something including yourself. Overwatch out!
