Restraint Is a Skill
Every throw asks a question before it asks for power.
Is this line repeatable?
Is the margin real?
Is the miss acceptable?
Good decision-making isn’t conservative. It’s intentional. It trades ego for probability.
Most bad shots aren’t execution failures. They’re choice failures that force execution to rescue them.
When you feel the need to “make something happen,” that’s often the moment restraint was skipped.
Discipline isn’t passive.
It’s active refusal.
Choose shots that survive repetition — not ones that require perfection.
