"Is forced diversity a step toward fairness or a step away from merit. "

I support creating a more inclusive society because everyone should have equal opportunities. However, I also think people should be judged on the basis of merit. Some organizations use a quota to increase diversity, while others push back on this idea because they believe it can overlook qualifications. I understand both sides. The important thing is to make sure no one is left out and that fairness remains the main goal.
