From my perspective, this is a difficult and controversial topic because I understand both sides, I think forced diversity can help people who were left out for years, because it can level the playing field and I also think companies should look qualifications and skills beacuse merit is really important, it includes many years of study or experience, on the other hand there are companies that use quotas to create more diversity but some people think this is unfair because it looks performative like companies want to tick a box. Maybe the solution is a balance between diversity and merit.
