Fam! Lets kick off our first community Mix Lab on Monday February 9th. How does 3pm MST sound?
In the Mix Lab, the song is the Constant. The Engineer is the Variable.
When we strip away the "competition" (who is loudest, etc.), we are left with pure interpretation. The why did you do what you did, opens us up to a conversation, where we are learning from each other and discussing elements that we may have missed and interpreted differently than others.
The Mix Lab is about proving there are multiple right answers.
Come to this lab not to see who has the best mix, but to see how many different ways this song can exist. You will leave not with a trophy, but with a new technique for your own toolkit.
