Today I noticed a scorched dandelion and plantain growing in the cracks of a patio, under the Alabama sun. 🌞
We call them weeds.
And yet, both have been valued by the generations before us as plants of nourishment and healing.
No rich soil.
No careful tending.
No perfect conditions.
Just a crack in the concrete and enough determination to reach for the sun and there’s something beautiful in that.
Maybe nature is always reminding us that we don’t have to wait for perfect conditions to grow. That even in the hardest, hottest seasons, something healing can still take root.
Sometimes what the world dismisses as a weed is simply something wild and useful that refused to stop growing. 🌿
There’s a little everyday magic in that.
