Get a plastic basket, set it next to your front door, top of the stairs or next to the place you keep your keys/wallet/etc... This basket is to be used for putting all the things you want and need on your trip.. Things like, sunscreen, your passports, your hair clips, hats, sunglasses, a phone charger. These seem like obvious things you want with you on any trip or vacation, and they are the very things you will leave at home unintentionally
