Even after all these years I still sit down with myself and have multi layered reflections that force me into stillness and solitude with myself.
Every layer I think I’ve “figured it out” only to have my body whisper back — “go deeper.”
It’s only in the true surrender that hours have passed and my desk is littered with printer paper and handwritten verbalizations of my internal dialogue…that my body eases and the tension finally melts and loosens its grips it’s had on me.
For in this stillness and ultimate surrender I’m met with gratitude and IMMENSE appreciation that I feel for myself to HAVE the tools and be able to USE them to change the frequency in my body.
The feeling is something I don’t quite have the words to describe.
But with every reflection, body symptom, and moment that makes us pause is a deep invitation to get to know ourselves at a whole new level.
The pause isn’t a sign of weakness.
But a sign of pure strength.
Because only the people who can truly meet themselves - face to face - soul to soul - only truly know themselves.
And to know oneself is to love oneself.
And only when the love for yourself is overflowing can you gift that same frequency to others.
Because we can only truly love, hold, rejoice, and understand others at the exact capacity we can for ourselves.
The best gift under the tree this year? The courage and capacity to love yourself unconditionally - the lessons, the trials, the mirrors, the obstacles, the unwanted neural pathways — all of it.
The biggest gift we possess is what we shy away from the most.
So I invite you the holiday season to take a new approach. One that is softer, and more gentle. 🎄⭐️
Take the time to love yourself.
Meet yourself in new ways.
Go deeper than your ego wants.
Surrender to what comes up.
Thank yourself.
& just simply BE. 💕
Merry Christmas girls! I have nothing but love for each and every single one of you.
