One of the most dangerous habits in modern Christianity is skipping the why and rushing to the feelings.
We quote verses without context or any real understanding.
We claim promises without obedience.
We preach grace without repentance.
That’s not fait, that’s comfort dressed up as belief.
Jesus never lowered the bar to keep followers.
He clarified it, and many walked away.
Truth is not harsh.
It's precise.
And precision matters, because vague belief produces shallow conviction, and shallow conviction collapses under pressure.
The gospel was never meant to be emotionally convenient.
It was meant to be transformational.
If what you believe cannot be explained plainly from Scripture and not tradition, not preference, not personality....then it’s time to slow down and actually read the text.
Truth holds up.
But only when we let scripture define itself.
