Most people think outbound doesn’t work anymore.
In reality…
they’re just using bad data and clunky tools.
I’ve been testing different lead gen platforms recently,
and one that stood out is Apollo
At first, I thought it was just another database.
It’s not.
It’s more like a full outbound system.
You can:
→ Find highly targeted leads
→ Build lists in minutes
→ Launch email sequences
→ Automate follow-ups
→ Track what’s working
All in one place.
What I actually liked:
- The filtering is very precise (job title, industry, company size, etc.)
- You can go from idea → campaign fast
- Sequences save a lot of manual work
- It replaces multiple tools
What’s not perfect:
- Data isn’t always 100% accurate
- Credit system takes a bit to understand
- Small learning curve at the beginning
But honestly…
No tool is perfect.
What matters is whether it helps you generate opportunities.
