I’m an HR professional with 16 years of experience, including 6 in disability management, where I supported employees and managers through complex performance situations. Over the course of my career, I’ve had more than 3,000 conversations about expectations, capacity, accommodations, and growth.
What I learned is simple: most performance issues aren’t about lack of effort, but about misalignment, unmet needs, unclear systems, and conversations that happen too late—or not at all.
This space is for employees, managers, HR professionals, and anyone interested in understanding performance beyond ratings and reviews. Here, performance is a dialogue—with ourselves, with others, and with the environments we operate in.
