Integrity is a private decision.
Nobody's watching when you give a man his money back even though he'd have forgotten. Nobody knows you took the harder road. Nobody sees what you turned down.
But you know. And the man you're becoming is built entirely from the decisions nobody saw.
The public character is just the accumulation of the private ones.
