Partnering vs. Solo Web Design: Can Outsourcing Work Help Me Scale Faster?
Hey everyone! 👋 I’m in the middle of launching my design studio, but I’m stuck in a dilemma. Here’s the deal:
I'm in the process of building my own Web Design agency, which also offers other services like (Branding, Motion Design, UX Research etc... While the business structure and processes are already set up, I’m facing a challenge: creating my studio’s website and a portfolio with detailed case studies. Learning Web Design is taking longer than expected, and I need to start generating revenue quickly.
Here’s my dilemma: Would it be more beneficial to partner with other web designers who can handle the website development projects, while I focus on sales, content creation, branding, motion, and overall studio management? The revenue would then be split among the partners.
I’m eager to hear opinions from other beginner web designers who are in the same journey of establishing their own agencies.
Do you think forming such partnerships is a smart move to accelerate growth and maintain quality, or should I invest more time mastering Web Design myself before taking on client projects?
Looking forward to your insights and advice!
Best regards,
Igor
