Storm Dave (Rodney) was a little lively
Wow, that was wild! Storm Dave crossed as promised overnight, and what a wild night it was.
We are currently pet-sitting near Masham in North Yorkshire, and the whole thing was deafening. Being out in the country means that all you can hear is the wind screaming through the trees. The sash-windows were rattling and the recycling boxes had blown 50 feet away across the lawn.
This morning there was patio furniture scattered eveywhere, smashed plantpots and lots of small branches laid around. It looked like a tornado had been through.
Any of you lot see any damage?
