May always feels like a turning point 🌿
The air shifts. The days stretch a little longer. The world feels like it’s waking up and maybe we are too.
As we step into a new month, I’ve been thinking about this:
✨ What do I want more of?
✨ What do I need less of?
✨ What am I ready to let go of from April?
April held growth for me but also moments of doubt, burnout, and pushing too hard. So I’m leaving behind:
🫠 the pressure to always be “on”
🫠 the guilt of not doing enough
🫠 the idea that writing has to look a certain way
And in May, I’m leaning into:
🌿 slower, more intentional writing
🌿 time outside in the warmth (even if it means writing less some days)
🌿 letting creativity exist alongside real life—not in competition with it
Because honestly? It’s harder to sit inside and write when the sun is calling your name. And maybe that’s not a bad thing.
Maybe this month is about balance.
About living and creating.
About letting your writing breathe a little.
So here’s your gentle check-in:
What are you hoping for this month?
What are you ready to release?
What would feel good to carry forward?
No pressure. No perfect plan.
Just a new month and a little more space to become.
✨ Welcome to May.
