Contrary to popular belief, college football teams need volunteers! Not only do they need them, but they value you them, and it's that very value that adds to the overall success of the program. Many current head coaches of major programs were once volunteers, as well as their assistants. One of the most common myths associated with getting into college coaching is that you have to "know someone". The difference between those who choose to believe this or not, is the effort you put into ensuring that "they know you". Volunteer Football Coaches Network exists to debunk the myths and barriers set between aspiring college coaches and achieving the job of their dreams. By no means is this a one size fits all method. However, difficulties and sacrifices included, this is a calling, and this calling is truly only as difficult as you make it. It's worth the effort. If your calling takes little to no convincing, then join other coaches in your same shoes, network, and go to work!
