Hi Everyone

Hi everyone! I'm Gerald Dzawo.

I'm based in Burlington, Iowa, and serve as a pastor, speaker, author, and nonprofit leader. Alongside my pastoral ministry, I lead the Always Hope Initiative, a ministry dedicated to bringing hope and encouragement to people facing cancer and other life-altering diagnoses.

After receiving my own Stage IV cancer diagnosis, I began writing from a very personal place. My newest book, Do You Want to Be Healed?, explores the spiritual, emotional, and practical journey of choosing hope, faith, and resilience in the face of difficult diagnoses. My heart is to encourage people not simply to survive hardship, but to discover God's presence and hope in the middle of it.

I primarily serve churches, healthcare organizations, cancer support communities, caregivers, nonprofits, and anyone walking through seasons of suffering or significant life transition. I also enjoy speaking on Christian leadership, resilience, and living with purpose.

My visibility goal over the next 90 days is to secure podcast interviews and speaking opportunities where I can share a message of hope with patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, churches, and community organizations. My desire is to use my story to encourage others and to help more people discover that even in life's hardest moments, hope is never beyond reach.

I'm looking forward to learning from all of you, building meaningful relationships, and finding ways we can support one another. Excited to be part of this community!
