I've been working on creating new projects in my work and it's come time that I knew I needed to focus on being more visible to bring aligned people into my world, so in April I started something I called a Gentle Visibility Challenge, which includes doing 1 act of visibility per work day.
I wanted to take the idea of "being visible" and actually do an experiment that helped me to actually turn it into something I can actually do and take action on.
Some have been little things (like commenting on a Substack post) and some have been bigger (like doing a video interview), but they have all added up.
The biggest result has been experiencing growth and noticing the momentum it creates (from the very first week, actually immediately as I began doing these things!).
My biggest takeaway has been making the idea of being visible into a practical thing I can actually do each day that feels easy enough to do.
My biggest lesson has been in order to do these visibility acts (and keep doing them!) I've needed to really support myself and my nervous system, so I can keep doing them!
If you're wanting to be more visibile I highly recommend coming up with your version of a visibility challenge to support you.
PS. One of the things that has been helping me show up for my challenge is having an anchor song that I play when I do my visibility acts and it's currently the song Golden from the K-Pop Demon Hunters soundtrack 🙊
