I was out having tacos and got a DM from a friend of mine who asked me to look at her virtual event funnel.
She told me they had to push the event back a few weeks because the ticket sales were barely trickling in. ๐คทโโ๏ธ
She asked me to critique it and provide feedback on how to increase conversion.
No problemo I said!
So here were my recommendations:
- Make sure the date of your event is clearly visible. If people don't clearly know when the event is, they won't sign up.
- Your virtual event date, headline, video, countdown timer, and CTA button should be above the fold.
- All CTA buttons should be congruent on the page. Don't have one button say "Register for the Masterclass" and another say "get your all access live training"
- Include a section taking about what they will learn at the event. If you are doing a workshop then break it down into sessions (session #1, session #2, ect...) if you are doing a challenge then do (day #1, day #2, ect...)
- Include a section about yourself as the host. Provide credibility and a short blurp of why you created this event.
- Include a FAQ section to answer most obvious questions including; when is the event, Who is the event for, How do I attended, are there replays? Ect...
These are just a few things I noticed...
Let me know down in the comments what you saw that maybe I missed. ๐
