Hapy New Moon!🌙
Today is the new moon in Gemini in the nakshatra of Punarvasu. This is a great new moon for new intentions and setting a new course. Puna means again, and vasu means brilliant, like the sun's rays of light. Vasu is the home of the soul, and the rays of light bring the divine blessings of the cosmos to Earth. It transforms the higher planes of existence and brings them down into earthly life. Ruled by Jupiter, we are guided on a righteous path to bring the divine into the material plane.
When the moon is in Gemini, we are working through this lesson cycle by gathering facts and information and keeping an open mind. When the moon was full in Sagittarius two weeks ago, we felt the pull not to get so wrapped up in facts and to connect to our hearts and inspirations. Finding the space between these two polarities is where we become masters of using logic and reason and simultaneously staying open to the mystery.
When the moon is new, we may feel more introspective; this is a good time to journal and do shadow work. If you haven't watched the Dark Moon Ritual yet, there is still time.
