The Vibella Hub Ecosystem
Upload & Monetize
Artists can upload tracks, videos, podcasts, and moments. Content can be offered for free or set as premium, allowing fans to unlock it using V-Credits or standard currency.
V-Credits (VC)
V-Credits are Vibella’s platform currency. Fans purchase V-Credits (starting at 55 VC for $4.99) and use them to unlock premium content, tip artists, or subscribe to creators.
Fans may also earn small amounts of promotional V-Credits through daily engagement challenges. Promotional V-Credits cannot be used for tips, subscriptions, or any artist payout features, ensuring that artist earnings are always backed by real purchases.
Artist Tiers
Vibella offers four artist tiers: Free, Pro, Premium, and Founding. Each tier unlocks higher revenue shares, improved royalty rates, and additional platform tools.
Benefits increase by tier and include:
- Revenue share ranging from 70 percent to 98 percent
- Advanced tools such as campaigns, raffles, and audience heatmaps
- Higher audio upload quality, including WAV and lossless formats on Pro and above
Artists can upgrade tiers whenever they choose.
Streaming Royalties
A portion of all fan V-Credit purchases (11.11 percent) is allocated to a shared royalty pool.
Artists earn a share of this pool based on their proportion of organic plays relative to all other artists on the platform. Base royalty estimates vary by tier, ranging from approximately $0.055 per play on the Free tier to about $0.08 per play on the Founding tier.
This model is not a fixed payment per stream. Final payouts depend on total organic plays and the available budget in the royalty pool.
Weekly Spotlight
Top-performing tracks are featured on Vibella’s Discover page each week, helping artists gain additional visibility.
Boost
Artists can spend V-Credits to promote their content within the feed and on the Discover page, increasing exposure to new listeners.
Collaborations
Vibella includes built-in collaboration tools that allow artists to:
- Find collaborators
- Create split agreements
- Sign contracts directly within the platform
How Artists Earn
Artists generate income on Vibella through several channels:
- Fans unlocking premium content using V-Credits or currency
- Fan tips and Super Likes
- Streaming royalties from the shared pool based on organic plays
- Merchandise sales
Only V-Credits received from fans are eligible for withdrawal. Self-purchased or promotional V-Credits cannot be converted to cash.
How Payouts Work
- Earned V-Credits accumulate in the artist’s account.
- Artists convert earned V-Credits into USD at their tier’s conversion rate.
- USD balances are paid out monthly on the first of the month once the minimum payout threshold for the artist’s tier is reached.
