When managing your catalog on Walmart, you have two ways to remove an item: deleting it or retiring it. So, what's the difference?

Deleting an Item: This completely removes any trace of the item from your account. All data, including SKU and repricer strategies, are erased as if the item never existed.
Retiring an Item: While the item is removed from your catalog, its data is still stored in your Walmart Seller Central account. This means you can keep historical data and other records.

🛠️ How to Bulk Retire Items

Go to the Bulk Template Setup: Start by selecting the category your items fall under (e.g., Beauty).
Download the Item Maintenance File: This file will allow you to retire items in bulk.
Fill in the Required Information:
Submit the File: Save your changes and upload the file to Walmart. Walmart's system will recognize the site end date and stop the listing from being live on your account from that date.
