What Rooms Are You In This Weekend?
Saturday morning. I'm at the Brand X Mastermind.
Speaking for 30 min on the Value of Speaking at Events.
Then, moderating the panel after that.
Let me ask you something most people don't have a lot of intention behind:
Who are you actually building with?
Not who's in your contacts. Not who you follow. Not who you met at that networking event six months ago and never talked to again.
Who are you in real relationship with right now that's pulling you forward?
Because here's what I've learned the hard way...
You can have the best offer in the world. The best systems. The cleanest funnel. But if you're building alone, you're building slow.
Every major jump I've made in business came from a relationship. Not a strategy. Not a hack. A person.
Someone who introduced me to the right room.
Someone who challenged how small I was thinking.
Someone who said "let me connect you with..." and meant it.
That's not luck. That's proximity.
And proximity isn't passive. You don't just end up around people playing at a higher level. You position yourself there. You add value first. You show up consistently. You become the person others want to build with.
I used to think I needed to figure everything out myself before I could show up in bigger rooms. Like I had to earn my way in with a perfect pitch deck or a certain revenue number.
Wrong.
The rooms that changed my life didn't require a resume. They required realness. They required me to stop performing and start connecting.
That's what we're building inside Unicorn Universe. Not a network. A web of people who actually pick up the phone for each other. Who send opportunities without being asked. Who challenge each other to think 10x bigger because playing small is boring.
Here's your Saturday challenge:
Think about the 3 people who've had the biggest impact on your business this year. Have you told them? Have you sent them anything? Have you asked how YOU can help THEM?
Reciprocity isn't a strategy. It's a lifestyle.
The entrepreneurs who build empires don't do it alone. They do it surrounded by people who refuse to let them stay comfortable.
Who's in your room right now?
Drop their name below and tag them. Let's celebrate the people who are helping us become who we're meant to be. 👇
