Switch Hitters Writing Prompt
Hey everyone,
Great tossing around ideas with all of you earlier this evening - always great to catch up.
Ran this idea by a few of you already, but from a critic’s comparative view my idea is Freaky Friday meets The Matrix meets (insert rom-com here). Though I would like to underscore that I don’t necessarily want this to be more parts rom-com than psychological thriller if we’re running ideas by one another. Let’s call it a genre bender/blender for the time being. As for a title, I like Switch Hitters. Yet I welcome anyone’s idea for a title, logline, pages, etc! Let’s plan to swing some material by each other next Q&A!!
Switch Hitters
A promising young baseball player finds himself in a failing marriage to his beauty vlogger wife. When she discovers an experimental medical procedure where struggling couples optimize their brain matter, she presents her husband with an ultimatum: she files for divorce or they undergo the procedure.
