I remember how it went down in Newark (Brick City), We didn’t need invitations—word spread through the streets like wildfire! Groups of kids roamed the neighborhoods yelling, “It’s a party on Osbourne! It’s a party on Stengel! $5 to get in!” We’d gather and line up outside a stranger’s home filling their basement ready to Stomp! As soon as we stepped in, it was on—dancing next to those big ass bass speakers that had our ears still ringing on Monday. DJ spinning on the 1 & 2 with baby powder on the floor so you can slide!
