House Rules
Click here to read the rules. Or just, you know, read the rest of this post 😂
OK, so the rules are simple, so here they are as written:
1. Be excellent to each other.
2. No spam, self-promo, or sales.
3. Respect ʻukulele & each other.
4. HAVE FUN! Join in. Play.
You can stop 🛑 here. That'll cover it...
Or...
If ya wanna be entertained by the way my brain writes these things BEFORE filtering them, 🟢 read on.
Here's how I'd write them if I had the character space:
  1. Be excellent to each other. Cuz Bill & Ted said so, alright? Keanu Reeves is Hawaiian 🤙
  2. No spam, self-promo, or sales without clear permission. You can be a douche, just not here. I think that's fair, don't you? 🙃
  3. Respect the ʻukulele, Hawaiian culture, and each other. No gear shaming or put-downs, and remember where this instrument comes from. Try to say and spell things correctly. Ask if you don't know. No entitled tourist energy allowed, I gotta deal with that enough already. 💀
  4. For the love of Troy Fernandez, Kalei Gamiao, James Hill, Jake Shimabukuro, and Silk Sonic, HAVE FUN! Take your craft and music seriously, not yourself. You’re GONNA mess up all the time—that’s how you get better! Laugh at yourself, and you’ll get through it. If you need help, it doesn't hurt to ask. If it does, it's usually because an answerer broke Rule #3 or #1. 🥴
