Ubongo is Swahili word for "brain". The best way to visualize brain activity is by the multitudes of synapses connecting and forming complex neural networks. This community is a reflection and application center for all the neural networks - both in brain - an in applications of the data science disciplines. The community is open to all data enthusiasts and true practitioners of the applied data sciences - with greater focus on the adoption and practice of data sciences in Africa.
Conversations begin here in the community and culminate in free workshops on Saturdays during which we make talks and presentations of the applications in data sciences. We also present paid courses that target key expertise such as data analysis, data engineering, data mining and much more.
