A couple years ago, I bought a Tesla Model X.
I liked the car, but financially, it wasn’t aligned. I tried renting it on Turo through one of Tampa’s larger operators and netted around $600 for the month, which didn’t even cover half the payment.
Instead of forcing it or pretending it didn’t bother me, I did what I’ve always done as an operator: I turned the asset into a tool.
I built a mobile RV service and ran it directly out of that vehicle. No shop. No employees. Just a focused service, tight scope, and disciplined execution.
