One training scenario to work with a fearful dog that isn't comfortable going outside. Alongside a thoughtful training program to increase their confidence in all other areas of life this trainingset-up encourages their independence and works through that fear without completely shutting out the "trigger" and is easy to fade going forward. Remember, I emphasize a few key things here:
*No words.
*Stay out of the picture.
*Throw the treat before the dog capturesand finishes eating.
*Initially, a flurry of treats raining down.
*Stop, pause and let the dog have a moment.
*Don't rush between reps.
