We’re bringing Saturday morning cartoons back — starting with an empty lot.
Saturday morning cartoons used to be a shared ritual. Not a screen in a bedroom — a community experience.
Today:
- Kids stay indoors
- Lots sit abandoned
- Independent creators have nowhere to show their work
- Shared spaces disappear
We’re changing that — starting from $0.
🌱 THE IDEA
Saturday Morning Cartoons transforms abandoned or underused city lots into free, outdoor cartoon theaters — just for one morning.
Every Saturday Morning Cartoons event includes:
- 📺 Cartoons on a large outdoor screen
- 🧃 Breakfast for kids and families
- 🧩 Outdoor games and seating
- 👨👩👧👦 A safe, family-friendly community gathering
- 🎨 Independent cartoon creators showcased publicly
No tickets. No ads. No permanent construction.
Just community.
🧭 WHY WE’RE STARTING FROM ZERO
We don’t have sponsors. We don’t have investors. And that’s intentional.
This project only works if it’s built with the community, not for the community.
We don’t raise money “just in case.” We raise money for one lot → one Saturday → one moment of joy.
When the goal is reached, we build it on camera, transparently, step by step.

Every dollar goes toward making one Saturday morning happen.

- Temporary permissions / permits
- Mobile screen, projector & sound
