THE LAMP WITHOUT OIL
What happens to the man who tries to hide his "light" spirit in the dark?
Today, we are teaching on The Lamp of the Ruach. We are going to look at Mishlĕy (Proverbs) 20, Matithyahu (Matthew) 25, and a very specific warning from 2 Esdras 14 about the "Fading Light." Do not skip the "inward searching." Look at how the Father prepares His prophets with a light that doesn't quit. Read it until you are begging for the Oil of the Ruach to fill your empty vessel!
THE LAMP WITHOUT OIL, THE DECEPTION OF THE WICK
In the Yah Scriptures, the "Lamp" isn't just a metaphor for your mind; it is the Father's searchlight into your very soul. Many have the lamp (the appearance of Truth), but they have no oil (the substance of the Ruach).
The Searchlight of Yahuah
Mishlĕy (Proverbs) 20:27 (Yah Scriptures):
"The spirit of man is the lamp of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (Yahuah), searching all the inward parts of the belly."
You cannot hide from this light. People spend all day polishing the outside of their "lamp" their knowledge of the Names, their outward fringes, their diet, but the Father is using the lamp to search the inward parts. If the inward parts are full of bitterness, pride, or hidden lawlessness, the lamp reveals it as "Found Wanting."
Fading Light of the End
2 Esdras 14:25 (Apocrypha - Yah Scriptures):
"And come hither, and I shall light a lamp of understanding in thine heart, which shall not be put out, till the things be performed which thou hast begun to write."
Ner (𐤍𐤓) Lamp
𐤍 (Nun): Seed / Life / Continuity.
𐤓 (Resh): The Head / Authority.
A Lamp (Ner) is the Authority (𐤓) that gives Life (𐤍) to the darkness. If you aren't under the Authority of the Torah, your lamp has no fuel. It's just a dead wick.
IS YOUR LAMP SMOKING OR SHINING?
THE INWARD SEARCH
Shalom. We’ve talked about being "Weighed," but today we talk about being Searched. Open your Yah Scriptures app to Mashliym 20 and 2 Esdras 14.
The Searchlight of the Ruach (Mishlĕy 20:27)
The Word says your spirit is the Lamp of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.He isn't looking at your fringes; He is using the lamp to search the inward parts of your belly.
What is He finding in your "storage room"?
Is it the oil of obedience, or the darkness of a "High Hand"?
Evidence from the Apocrypha:
In 2 Esdras 14, the prophet is given a Lamp of Understanding that cannot be put out. Most "believers" today have a lamp that flickers every time the world gets loud. If your light depends on your mood or your circumstances, you don't have the Ner (𐤍𐤓) of the Father.
The "Outer Court" is dark, and the night is coming. In Matithyahu 25, the foolish virgins had lamps, but they had no Oil. They had the look, but they didn't have the Continuity (𐤍). When the Bridegroom came, their lamps went out.
Don't wait for the midnight cry to realize your lamp is empty. Check your "inward parts" today. Is there enough Torah in you to keep the light burning when the world goes pitch black?
Abba 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (Yahuah), We stand before Your searchlight today. We repent for focusing on the outside of our lamps while our inward parts remained in the dark. We repent for the times we ran out of oil because we were too busy serving ourselves to sit at Your feet. Fill our vessels with the Oil of Your Ruach. Light the Ner in our hearts that cannot be put out by the world. Search us, Abba, and remove every hidden thing that dims Your light. Let us be found with our lamps trimmed and burning when the Bridegroom appears. In the Name of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 (Yahusha) HaMashiach, Amein.
