Posting on the weekend? Is it worth it?
Short answer: yes!!
Most people treat weekends as a break from posting, but the truth is, weekends are when the majority of people are actually online.
They’re not sat at work…
They’re on the sofa, waiting for the kids’ football match to start, out for lunch, or just killing time scrolling.
That’s your opportunity.
When you post on the weekend, your content isn’t competing with the same weekday noise. Fewer creators are posting, but more people are watching.
That means your chances of reaching new audiences actually increase.
And remember, TikTok doesn’t care what day it is. The algorithm isn’t taking Saturday off.
If anything, it’s paying closer attention to what viewers engage with when they’ve got more time on their hands.
So if you’re trying to grow, stop thinking of weekends as “downtime”.
Use them as a window to reach more people when they’re most available.
