DiMaggio Hit Streak Game #39 of 56
I've never come across a ticket from DiMaggio's hit streak. This one is my first. And because it's a bleacher seat, it may not be able to be definitely dated by PSA. Still looking into that, but I don't think it will be possible.
However, the contemporaneous writing on the front and verso are enough for me to get excited thinking that this stub was likely there in Shibe Park when DiMaggio hit his 17th HR of the '41 season, and extended his consecutive game hitting streak to 39. The whole country was watching "Joltin' Joe DiMaggio"
This thing may get me excited enough to take on the impossible task of putting together a run of all 56 games of the streak. Probably impossible, but damn would that be cool AF to have.
