Correlation between critical thinking capabilities and absence of cable vision

We got rid of cable vision over 10 years ago because there was never anything good to watch and we felt like we were paying for nothing.

Since then, I’ve noticed that people who have cable are steadfastly asleep as opposed to those who have given it up. Does anyone here still have cable? If so, how have you been able to weed out the nonsense of MSM? If not, have you found that you are less likely to be hoodwinked and more likely to use your critical thinking skills?
