Hello (finally) ๐
Iโm Leigh (obviously) but online Iโm better known as The Basics Bitch, I run on caffeine and audacity (plus cheese of course because snacks matter ๐ง)
Iโm an animal person but currently limited to 2 dogs since moving to the city, speaking of which Iโm a Yorkshire lass now living in Plymouth (the original one in England ๐)
Iโm 41, mum of 2 one of each (12 & 23) Iโm adhd autistic and recently became a wheelchair user.
Iโve spent my life taking care of others & starting businesses, 3 years ago I hit burnout, thankfully Iโve pulled myself back from the brink (with help from my amazing partner who showed up right when I needed somebody to care for & about me) and I am now working from a place of capacity first planning & prioritising self care, on a mission to help others avoid falling into that dark pit that almost consumed me.
