The Editing Spiral
Editing used to take me forever.
I'd open Premiere, cut two clips… and somehow end up watching YouTube tutorials on color grading for the next three hours.
Productive procrastination at its finest.
Now I’ve started timing myself — one hour max per short.
Done or not, I move on. Weirdly, it’s made me enjoy editing again.
How long does it usually take you to finish editing a short or video?
