Seven years ago, at 30 years old, I made a declaration:

“I AM GOING TO RETIRE BEFORE I’M 40.”

At the time, I had no idea HOW that intention would unfold.

I was running a successful traditional business, earning multiple six figures and generating what translated into multiple millions of Philippine pesos. On paper, I had achieved success.

But internally?

I still felt NOT ENOUGH.

I wanted more. I wanted freedom. I wanted purpose. I wanted to teach. I wanted to mentor. I wanted a life where my time belonged to me.

Then, five years after making that declaration, something happened that my old identity feared deeply:

I LOST THE BUSINESS I THOUGHT I NEEDED TO FEEL SECURE.

At first glance, you could call it a loss.

Looking at my life today, I see something completely different.

The woman who once declared that she would retire from traditional business before 40 is now living a life remarkably close to what she imagined.

I read. 📚

I journal. ✍🏻

I go to the gym.

I study spirituality and manifestation.

I teach.

I create.

I have my own platform and community where I help others reinvent themselves and rewrite their self-concept.

I BECAME THE WOMAN I WAS LONGING TO BECOME.

This is why I believe we should become deeply conscious of the intentions we repeatedly speak over our lives.

Your words influence what you focus on. Your self-concept influences what you believe is available to you. Your repeated choices shape the person you become.

And sometimes the road between your declaration and its fulfilment looks NOTHING like the road you expected.

What appears to be an ending may become the doorway into an entirely new identity.

So ask yourself:

WHO ARE YOU DECLARING YOURSELF TO BE?❓️

Because your life isn't only about chasing the next achievement.

It is also about becoming the version of you who can actually LIVE, RECEIVE, ENJOY AND EMBODY what you've been asking for.
