Bible Study 2.9.26: Stop Falling for “Christian” Branding—Look for Fruit.
Everybody’s arguing about “what Christians should watch,” but I’m more concerned with what we’re being distracted from. Because a “Christian organization” putting on a show doesn’t automatically make it Christ-like—and the Bible literally warns us about that. If it’s not clearly pointing people back to Jesus, it’s not carrying the mission. Period.
Then God pulled me right into Acts and it all clicked: the apostles went from hiding to walking in full authority—not by striving, but by waiting, obeying, and receiving power when the Holy Spirit came. Just like Jericho: there’s a moment when Heaven releases the sound…and it’s go time.
And here’s the part that hit me: when they were threatened, they didn’t pray for an easier assignment—they prayed for boldness. And God shook the room again.
So hear me: discernment is not a Pharisee spirit, and it’s not condemnation. It’s love with eyes open. In these times, we don’t need louder opinions—we need clean fruit, surrendered hearts, and Holy Spirit-led clarity.
Stay alert. Stay aligned. And when the “sonic boom” hits—move.
