That's me done for week on the blower. F*ck me, glad to see the back of it.
This came up in one of the threads but here you have it again.
No matter how good you get at cold calling, most calls are going to end in some form of no.
Disqualified out, not interested, they fob you off with 'send me an email' or 'we haven't got budget for this.'
If you're not already, add these question's into your arsenal. 🔫
The last hurrah.
💬 - "So even if there was someone who could do a better job than your current supplier and for less than what you're currently paying, you wouldn't be interested?"
If they say no...
💬 - "You don't mind if I ask why, do you?"
They'll give you some cock and ball story about being happy with their existing supplier and all the rest of it.
💬 - "That's fair enough, well look it doesn't sound like we can help you then?"
And then pause... ⏳
I find it fascinating how hard prospects find it to say no to this question. I use it all the time and 30 minutes ago a prospect who was giving f*ck all away, said this to me...
"Well look if things don't improve in the next three months, we'll be looking to change..."
Then we had a conversation about why they wouldn't be open to changing now and agree I'd call them back in 3 months. Excellent.
Knowing how hard it is for someone to say no to this question, when you hear it, you know you've done your job well.
You have closure on the call. You can now move on to the next call with no regrets.
A life without regrets, wouldn't that be great.
