Endurance is not the strategy.
Yes, sometimes we have to push through.
We have deadlines.
Families.
Businesses.
Responsibilities.
Full inboxes.
Lives that do not magically pause because we would like a nap and a snack.
But here is where we get it twisted:
Pushing through can be useful for a moment.
But when endurance becomes the whole operating system,
we start confusing depletion with dedication.
We start wearing exhaustion like proof that we care.
And joy-led leadership asks us to tell the truth:
You do not have to be exhausted to be effective.
Joy is not about doing less because you cannot handle more.
Joy is about leading from a place that is regulated, grounded, creative, and actually alive.
Today’s practice:
Notice one place you are pushing past your own wisdom.
Then ask yourself:
What would support look like here?
What would ease look like here?
What would joy change about how I approach this?
Endurance may get you through the day.
But joy helps you build a life you do not have to recover from.
