Imagine actually enjoying the moment someone asks what you do.
"I'm a SYSTEMologist®." "A what, a Scientologist?" "No, SYSTEMologist®." That mix-up used to happen constantly - and it worked in Rob's favour, because it made people ask a follow-up question instead of nodding politely.
Compare that to the old answer: "I'm in IT." Nobody ever asked a follow-up to that.
The shift wasn't the job. It was learning to describe it as an outcome instead of a title - helping business owners build something that runs without them, instead of just "doing tech."
How do you currently answer "what do you do" - and does it make people want to know more, or just nod and move on? 👇
