I was pondering something this morning… What if we took every negative thought we have and flipped it into its positive opposite — the inverse?
💠Instead of saying, “I’m fat,” what if you said, “I’m in a great position to lose weight.”
Same situation, but a completely different energy. One keeps you stuck — the other pushes you toward action.
That reminded me of Proverbs 24:30-34 👇
“I went by the field of the slothful, and by the vineyard of the man void of understanding;
and, lo, it was all grown over with thorns… Then I saw, and considered it well: I looked upon it, and received instruction.
Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:
So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man.”
What that says to me:
👉 Be a hard and diligent worker in everything you do.
👉 Seek knowledge and understanding first.
👉 Don’t sleep while there’s work to be done — stay alert, stay teachable, and stay faithful.
When we shift our thoughts and our actions toward diligence, we step into the blessing God already prepared for us. 🙌
Both laziness and diligence lead somewhere — the question is, which path are you on today?
🙏 Thank You Jesus for the reminder to stay diligent and focused!
