Intro & Homework
Hi! My name is Takera. I took some time away from creating after burnout, I did hiit a great stride last year but had to move out the country for work. I was never super consistent but now find it difficult to be okay with cringe as I try to jump back in.
My Why: My brand is Flights and Foods. My Why is really about curiosity and connection. I want to encourage people to experience the world beyond the typical tourist attractions. I want folks to try the food, meet the people, learn the culture, and discover the stories that make a place special. And hopefully, while doing that, I can help shine a light on the small businesses and communities that make those experiences possible.
My Pillars: Because I like alliteration I’m going with Curiosity, Connection, and Culture. I used to say Food, Travel and Culture.

IG - Love this because I consider myself and introvert and I tried A LOT of new things and loved the experience. I wasn’t afraid to ask for help filming and everything came together how I envisioned….until IG dropped my sound (I plan to repost it).
YT - I also dipped my toe in YouTube and tried a vlog. Love this because it was scary but I did it anyway. I’d really like to focus Yt and IG moving forward and learn how not to focus on perfection and just post.
