Every month inside the Shed (as we lovingly call it 🫶🏻), we step into a new story world: a creative theme inspired by literature, music, and the seasons - and by the end of the month, you'll have written one finished piece. Your own Story from the Shed.

Story worlds intrigued me because I have trouble motivating myself to come back to longer-form writing. The prompts helped me get over my fear or the blank page by giving me gentle structure and something to look forward to returning to over the month. In August, story worlds helped me draft a 2,000-ish word short story that I’m quite pleased with! Definitely recommend giving it a go =)
