Focus: Dialogue That Sounds Like Humans 🗣️

This week we’re working on dialogue that feels natural, specific, and purposeful (not like two robots exchanging plot points).

Try this (10 mins):Take one dialogue exchange from your draft and do a quick “dialogue pass”:

🔸Cut one line that repeats information

🔸Add one small human detail (interruption, hesitation, misdirection, subtext)

🔸Make sure each character sounds slightly different (word choice, rhythm)
