7,700-Year-Old Settlement Discovered in Kuwait.
A new archaeological discovery in Subiya, Kuwait has revealed what may be one of the oldest settlements in Arabia, dating back around 7,700 years. Researchers uncovered ancient kilns, an “owl idol,” and evidence of early barley cultivation at Bahra 1.
This finding offers an important look at how some of the earliest communities in the region lived and developed.
This discovery could reshape our understanding of early Middle Eastern history.
What are your thoughts on discoveries like this?
And do you think the Arabian Gulf is still hiding major early settlements?
