Why Spells Can Backfire or Fail
Spells can fail or backfire when intention, energy, and alignment are off. Unclear or emotionally charged intentions can cause magic to manifest in unexpected ways or not at all.
When casting, your focus must be absolute. If your mind is scattered, distracted, or jumping between thoughts, the spell loses direction. In that moment, nothing else should exist but the spell and its intention.
Casting while exhausted or emotionally unstable can distort the energy of a working and lead to chaotic results.
Timing matters. Working against lunar or planetary currents or before you are truly ready can stall or twist a spell.
Resistance from the situation, the target, or your own doubts weakens magic. Overworking a spell or obsessing over results can also collapse the working.
Failure is not punishment it is feedback. Every failed spell teaches you how to refine your energy, awareness, and craft.
