Know that you’re doing enough
I wanted to share something from my heart today. I woke up feeling overwhelmed and exhausted, like I wasn’t doing enough and like I should somehow be doing more. But I had to remind myself that I am one person — and considering everything I carry, I am doing an incredible job. I’m learning to give myself grace, to love on myself, and to accept that everything won’t get done… and that’s okay.
Every day isn’t easy for me, even though I try to make it look like it is. I just want you to know that you’re not alone. You are doing an amazing job, even on the days when it feels like you’re falling behind. The things that don’t get done will wait, and the things you do manage to handle are more than enough.
I hope you remember to be gentle with yourselves, the same way I’m learning to be gentle with me. We’re all doing the best we can, and that is more than enough.
