You're going to need to talk to people if you want clients in the service industry.
As an online expert you're either:
- Talking to prospects
- Talking to clients
Either way you will be interacting with other people (because you're delivering a "done for you" service or a "coaching/ consulting" service.
The TREND right now in the industry is to AVOID talking to people until they become a client.
I can say you will ALWAYS position yourself to more quickly and easily land clients if you talk/ interact with people BEFORE they become a client.
Interact with your audience and they can confidently become a client faster.
It's like dating.
More dates = closer to a confident decision to move in together
So stack more dates with your audience to see sales and conversions happen faster.
Ways to create interactions with your audience:
- Respond to comments/ questions in depth
- Ask your audience to post their questions for you to answer them in a video
- Workshops (my favorite option)
- Private DMs/ convos / voice notes
- Private zoom sessions
Ultimately the workshop model will scale your time (1 to many model) but all methods are powerful.
Once I grasped this concept I went ALL-IN on workshops.
Because I knew I needed to interact with my audience regardless.
Might as well interact with them sooner and have them become a client sooner.
