Happy Monday, everyone! Last week’s live session was great! The discussion revolved around supporting students who are highly successful but still struggling and need specific accommodations in order to access the same information as their peers.
Your child does NOT have to be failing in order to need supports and accommodations. If they have a disability that impacts a major life function (like hearing), they have a right to accommodations to support their access.
What is the difference between an IEP and a 504 accommodation plan? Come chat with us this week to explore this topic, and bring any questions you have about your own child’s path.
